Question 1. How does this program work?
Answer 1. Its very simple. You have set up an affiliate account with us and add our banner to your website. Your visitor clicks on our banner and arrives at our website. A cookie gets placed on their computer temporarily recognizing that they are coming from your website. Then, if your visitor makes a purchase on our website, you are entitled to 10% commission on that sale.

Question 2. How do I go about adding the banners to my website? Do you provide any support?
Answer 2. Once you log in, you will see a set of links on the left side, which will allow you to create banners of various sizes. All you have to do is copy the code and paste it in the code for your website. Unfortunately, due to the volume of enquiries, we are unable to provide support for your coding needs. If you do not know html coding, please ask a friend who does, to help you out.

Question 3. How do I know how much my visitors have purchased from your site?
Answer 3. One of the advantages of joining our Affiliate program is that you are always aware of where things stand. You will know how many of your visitors have arrived at Zermatt Garments, how many made any purchases, and how much money has been paid to you. Our program has the ability of generating all these reports for you, at no cost to you.

Question 4. How soon will I start making money??
Answer 4. Commisions are only paid out on 21st of the month for the previous month. Generally, you get paid 30 days after your customers have made the purchases. Also, we do not issue a check if the total commission is less than $10 or if the commission is for three or less purchases. That commision will be rolled over into next monthuntil it reaches $10 or more.

Question 5. Why don't I get paid for the clicks on our banner?
Answer 5. In Zermatt Garments Affiliate program, we treat you as a partner in our business. Commission is paid on each sale we generate from your visitors. The benefit of this system is that you can get paid not a small amount (2 or 3 cents per click) but a full 10% of the total sales amount. In fact, for all sales upto July 1, 2008, we intend to pay upto 20% of all sales! In a way since sky is the limit, you can put some extra effort into this and help yourself by promoting our products on your website. You will see that in the long run this kind of partnership works out better for you.

Question 6. How many websites can I use to send customers to Zermatt Garments website?
Answer 6. As many as you wish. No seriously, you can add the code to as many websites as you wish. Since the code is unique to you, you don't need to generate new code. The same code can be used on all your websites.

Question 7. I have visitors who made purchases on your website, but the commission doesn't show up?
Answer 7. This could be for one of two reasons. First reason could be that it hasn't been 30 days since the purchase. As you know, all commissions are registered 30 days after the sale. Second reason could be, the item that was purchased was returned. There is NO Commission on returned goods. Finally, even if its been 30 days, it takes us some time to issue checks. Checks are issued on 21st of the month, so if you haven't seen yours yet, just hold tight. The check will get there.

Question 8. How long has Zermatt Garments and the affiliate program been in around?
Answer 8. Although Zermatt Garments is a new business, Jaya Brands has been around since 2004, mainly as Jaya Teas, LLC. Our affiliate program is also relatively new - its in beta phase, which means we are still working some quirks out. But worry not, by quirks we meanwe are trying to make more improvements to make it a lucrative program for you.

Question 9. Can I use my commission for purchasing Garments at the Zermatt Garments website?
Answer 9. Of course you can. Its your money - you can buy any number of shirts it can buy, on our website. Of course, you will not be able to make commission on the sale which is paid for through your commission proceeds. That would be double dipping! :-) Also, while you can use the money to buy goods from Zermatt Garments website, at present you cant use the funds to buy goods from our other websites.

Question 10. My Aunt Marge has a website. Can I use my account to put banners on her website?
Answer 10. Well, if Aunt Marge gives you the responsibility of managing her website, then what you do on her website is between Aunt Marge and yourself. Our program is simple minded. It only recognizes the code and pays the affiliate whose code sends us the customer. So, the check will go to you, not to Aunt Marge. If Aunt Marge wants to receive a check, then you should help her set up an account for herself. If you have any doubts about this, please talk to your lawyer as this can get legalistic!!

Answer 11. The code becomes active the moment you put it on your website.

Question 12. I lost my password. How can I get a new one?
Answer 12. If you have lost your password, you can get a new one generated by going to the log in page, and clicking "Password forgotten, Click here" link.

Question 13. Is there anything else I need to know?
Answer 13. Yes. Its the same stuff everyone else will tell you. i.e., The Zermatt Garments affiliate program is a privilage of doing business with us. We reserve the right to refuse the service to any one without cause. We also reserve the right to change the terms at any time without providing any notice. And should there be any dispute between us, we agree to arbitration under the New Jersey law. Signing up for the program assumes acceptance on your part, of this legal notice.
